Yesterday morning, our CAST food warehouse was empty. We were not able to get food in as the stores had been looted. Richard Fleuriot contacted us saying he had a donation of cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, broccoli and bananas. This was distributed to retirement villages, senior groups who could not get to the shops, and the church partners CAST works with. Amazing 24 hours. 69-year-old pensioner Sanjeth Singh lives with his wife in Phoenix, Durban. He sadly suffered a stroke which left him unable to care for himself. His family have taken much strain, unable to afford the necessary medical supplies and have requested help with getting a wheelchair.
