Partners: Hope of Glory Tabernacle (Gauteng)

In June 2018, CAST partnered with Hope of Glory Tabernacle, situated in Vosloorus, Gauteng. Founded in 1988 by Rev. Dr. Kenneth Meshoe, the church rapidly grew from a group of 8 people worshipping in the Meshoe’s home garage, to building a 3500-seater auditorium to accommodate the expanding congregation.

Sharing a vision for transformation, Hope of Glory Tabernacle has adopted the Wordworks Early Literacy programme and Local Economic Development programme facilitated by CAST to implement in the community of Vosloorus where 47% of the residents are within the traditional economic class and 41% are aged between 15 and 34 years old.
