Since last year, we have been journeying with Ngwelezane Baptist Church near Empangeni in Northern KZN, guiding them towards fulfilling their Masihambisane vision of becoming a “Beacon of Hope” in their community through exploring our Purple People material and implementing outreach initiatives that serve local schools and destitute people within their community.
This month, the church celebrated National Nurses Day by visiting two clinics in Empangeni to gift the nurses with small tokens of appreciation, encourage them through the Word, and pray with them. They also visited Ingweni Primary School to bless learners in need with personal hygiene packs, including toiletry bags donated to CAST.
