Our annual “Church Arise” conference is a time of renewal, refreshing, envisioning and equipping for all of those passionate about local missions, community transformation and seeing “His Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven.”
It is a chance for us to pause in the midst of our frantic schedules and reflect on Scripture and its implications for the way we live out our faith in the world.
Join us for two days as we gather as His disciples to hear His ancient words to us, in our times today.
Price includes lunches, teas and coffee, opportunities for networking and alliance-building and hearing from a range of internationally acclaimed speakers.
Group discounts are available.
This is also a great opportunity to serve by volunteering for the event, sponsoring tickets or items for the conference, and joining a prayer group.
What is this conference about?
Jesus begins his public ministry with the well-known phrase “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near”. He then gathers his disciples together and begins to teach them more about this upside-down Kingdom through the famous Sermon on the Mount, captured by his disciple Mathew. The opening lines of this sermon, referred to as “the Beatitudes” introduce us to a strange group of people that Jesus pronounces as “blessed”. Who were these people? How do they link to us today? How do Jesus’ words and his teaching shape how we think about reaching a broken world… about missions… about community transformation… about living out our faith in the world around us…
If you are a church leader thinking about how to impact your local area for the Kingdom of God… or a follower of Jesus questioning how your faith intersects with the multitude of issues our country is facing…. Or an NPO practitioner wondering how your daily work connects with your love for Jesus… or a business person looking for the theological links between your 9-5 and your Sundays…. Then these two days are for you.
We believe the Jesus’ message truly is the Good News that the world is desperate to hear. Join with us as we gather as his disciples, and hear his ancient words to us in our modern-day contexts.
We are so looking forward to seeing you there.
