Our partner, Redeemed Baptist Family Church has also made good use of the torn sample clothing donated to CAST to establish a sewing group that is helping women in the community of Noodsberg to learn new skills and generate an income.
We are so grateful that we could assist our partner, Worship Centre Church in Umbilo, to establish a sewing group training project, training unemployed women, and using clothing donated to CAST to generate an income. This church serves a broad community of refugees from African countries and seeks to help the women to become economically-empowered.
We so appreciate all those who supported CAST this year which helped us to equip our partner churches during very difficult times. We wish you all a blessed and safe Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus
Pastor Strydom Msomi, who ministers at our partner Kwandengezi Local Church, suffered terrible damage to his home from the flooding in April this year, almost losing his son. Thankfully, we have been able to assist him in rebuilding to keep his family safe and secure
Thab'sile Miya, a member of our partner KwaDabeka Baptist Church , has regained her freedom and independence to live in her own space since CAST was able to assist in renovating her home this year. Having lost her full-time job during the pandemic, she has since found a new occupation serving at the church, and worships God whole-heartedly.
We were recently blessed with a permanent new container from Container World for storage at our Food & Clothing Warehouse! This has come just in time for another delivery of sample clothing generously donated by Retailablity which is distributed to our partner churches for fundraising and relief. Thank you again to RB Associated Logistics for assistance with transport!
We are so grateful to the members of Home Ground Church for generously supporting our Feed A Family Campaign Help us raise enough funds for 157 more food parcels to reach our goal of feeding 600 families this Christmas!
What a blessing to be able to equip our partner Melitha Baptist Church, Lamontville to assist in renovating Nonhlanhla's home with much-needed repairs. This has made a world of difference for this family. Help us reach more families in need of immediate relief that will improve their living conditions and empower them to go further.
