CAST Mandela Day

In honour of Madiba and his lasting legacy of supporting the previously-disadvantaged people of South Africa, our Relief Ministry aims to assist families in meeting their immediate needs.

Mananjalo Creche at our partner, Chibini Baptist Church, cares for children from the local rural community located in rural Northern KwaZulu-Natal. The church floor is tiled, leaving the children feeling especially cold in low-temperature weather.

The kiddies were delighted to have us join them for Mandela Day and deliver some much-needed blankets, mattresses, food supplies and tasty treats.

We so appreciate the assistance from Kloppers Inc Durban, Modena Design, Lebo M The Baker and Eden Schools Durban & Johanessburg for their support in making this possible.

We thank our Lord for blessing our nation with a leader who embodied love, righteousness, and compassion for all. May we continue his legacy and come together to serve the needy around us.

Sinoxolo Trauma Counselling Workshop

We invited church leaders, organisations, relief/social workers and all the “hands and feet” who have responded to victims of trauma, especially during the KZN flood disaster to attend the Sinoxolo Trauma Counselling Workshop co-hosted with Home Ground Church and The Warehouse on 22 & 23 July.

We pray that the seeds of healing and restoration have been planted in the communities across KZN through all those who attended.

“Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.” Psalm 126: 5

Strategic Planning Retreat

The CAST team were blessed to spend a few days at the seaside for our Strategic Planning Retreat.

We are so grateful to Colleen and Caroline from The Warehouse for sharing their insights and expertise in guiding us forward to fulfil God’s vision for our Church Alliance.
