Our Journey with Chibini Baptist Church continued this month focusing on food security as one of their primary needs.
They spent time analysing their community through visually mapping public spaces in their area and analysing which locations represent hope, power, inclusion; and the opposite of these.
From there, they were able to reflect on some of the contributing factors, like unemployment, hopelessness and apathy, corruption and lack of education that are made worse by cycles of dependency, unplanned pregnancies & substance abuse.
Please keep this church in prayer as we walk alongside them to make use of their resources for implementing a farming programme that may help to restore God’s vision of shalom for this issue
