We are so proud of Savannah Park Baptist Church as they have taken the next step in our Masihambisane journey to launch an addiction recovery programme to help those in need in their community
The group is led by Pastor Henry Mhlanga and one of our Just Leaders of 2023, Mthobisi Mbutho, alongside members of their church. This experience has given us valuable insight into how to support the church in extending their evangelistic outreach and encourage more people actively struggling with addiction to join the weekly support group.
“I pray that the community comes together with the church so we can work together in dealing with drug abuse. I see souls being free from the burdens of drugs and poverty.” – Mthobisi Mbutho
