MOVING BEYOND CHARITY We are so happy that we could assist Savannah Park Baptist Church with implementing Sinoxolo Trauma Counselling sessions at their church and learning how to grow their own food with Farming God's Way Thank you to Colleen Saunders from The Warehouse for "training the trainers" equipping us to help others heal
A blessed Women's Day to all in our CAST Community. Today we commemorate the bravery and determination of the 20,000 women who united to march against the extension of Pass Laws in apartheid South Africa on 9 August 1956. Let us continue to work together for justice and equality for the needy and vulnerable in our communities.

On 18th April, shortly after the devastating floods in KwaZulu-Natal, George Mwaura, CAST's PR & Fundraising Manager, visited the township of KwaNdengezi, west of Durban in search of Mrs Princess Phumzile Mvuyana who works at Two Little Fishes Pre-School at Home Ground Church. Her area had been badly affected by a mudslide, sadly causing some to lose their homes and others their lives. Upon finding her, George immediately saw the need to help as many families as possible. We have been overwhelmed by the immense response from the Westville community and other organisations to our appeal for donations. What a blessing to be able to help people in desperate need during this time.
