CAST KZN Flood Relief Response

We have been overwhelmed by the immense response from the Westville community and other organisations to our appeal for donations. What a blessing to be able to help people in desperate need during this time. CAST Sowing Smiles: Imananjalo

We love the beautiful colouring in by the children at Imananjalo (isiZulu, meaning "God stays the same always") Creche at our partner, Chibini Baptist Church in rural Northern KZN who took part in Kirchhoffs Sowing Smiles Competition! Special thanks to all who supported our Grow Eat Thrive farming project through the campaign this month helping us to empower our communities during this difficult season.

Feeding the Vulnerable

Yesterday morning, our CAST food warehouse was empty. We were not able to get food in as the stores had been looted. Richard Fleuriot contacted us saying he had a donation of cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, broccoli and bananas. This was distributed to retirement villages, senior groups who could not get to the shops, and the church partners CAST works with. Amazing 24 hours.
